I’d like to tell you a story about a patient who came to see me recently from Prosper, Texas.

Prosper’s a town that’s located just to the northwest of McKinney. It’s easy to get here from there. You just take Highway 380 East to Highway 75 come on South and your next exit’s gonna be Virginia Street, go under 75 headed east and we’re a block down the road on the left hand side right across from the Dairy Queen. We’re easy to find.

This gentleman came to see me from Prosper and he’d been dealing with dental problems his whole life. You know, he had a lot of missing teeth scattered around his mouth. He’d been wearing partials and he had looked into the potential of having implants to replace his missing teeth. Well, the process of replacing each tooth individually was going to involve a lot of bone grafting. It would involve what’s called a sinus lift, which is a graft of bone into your sinus and building it around the remaining teeth, which he figured at some point he was going to have problems with, seemed like a foolish thing to do considering the cost that it would involve. Plus, having those original teeth there meant more work in the future

So he started thinking about the potential of doing something more like an all-on-four that he’d read about. He’d searched Google and then looked at some social media and he found me, at Dr. Jeff Lynch DDS on my Instagram, and he saw how I was able to help patients similar to him now have a beautiful solid smile, which is what he was looking for, and they can chew and not have to deal with anything removable like partials again. We’re also able to do this with minimal bone grafting in such a way that we don’t have to graft prior to placing the implants. So, the process happened not only quicker but it actually costs less. One of the reasons we were able to save him money is I’m able to bill Blue Cross Blue Shield plans, certain ones across the state in the country, that have medical coverage for dental implants and the teeth that go on them. So I was able to save him a ton of money and time, and now we got the smile that he’s always been dreaming of.
