Our state-of-the art facility is designed to help you get the treatment you need in a comfortable and anxiety free environment.
Why Do Wisdom Teeth Need to Be Removed?
Your wisdom teeth are the teeth farthest in the back of your mouth, located in both the upper and lower jaw. Dentists frequently refer to them as third molars. Most patients do not have ample room for wisdom teeth.
Since our jaws are not of adequate size to accommodate our wisdom teeth, they become impacted within the bone or soft tissue, as they attempt to erupt into the mouth. Since it is a rare occurrence for them to come in straight, patients usually experience a range of dental problems.
In effort to avoid these problems our dentists recommend removing the third molars at a young age. That way, there is a lesser chance of problems ever arising. Plus, extracting wisdom teeth at a young age means that the root has not fully developed—this makes for an easier extraction, and a speedier recovery.
Our Gentle Wisdom Teeth Extraction Process
During the wisdom teeth extraction procedure, we offer IV sedation by our Board-Certified Anesthesiologist, this allows you to sleep comfortably throughout the entire procedure. The appointment typically lasts one hour to remove all four wisdom teeth.
